Renovation

This kitchen features cloud white lacquer shaker style multi-panel doors with etched glass and simple cove crown. A magic corner system enables more accessible corner storage and much needed pot and pan drawers. Beautiful antique brown granite counter tops with antiqued finish and delicatus granite island elevates the look.  The apron sink, library pull hardware and simple pillow style subway tile helps to hit home the vintage feel. Mouldings were matched to the original treatments throughout the home.

Creative use of millwork to the right of the desk area hides a 35" high x 24" deep obstruction which is actually the top of the stairs to the basement. This created an opportunity for a phone centre and has become a busy hub for both homework and work at home.    A pull-out cabinet handily hides a printer and file storage so no one is the wiser when not in use.
