Manzig Residence

This impressive kitchen was designed with a green theme in mind.  Reducing emissions as much as possible was a key factor in this design.  This desired effect was achieved by using “nu-green” materials for the cabinet construction, with plywood dovetail drawers.

The solid maple doors were painted in a clay based paint in a soft green colour.  Black solid surface soapstone countertops produce a nice contrast to the subtle cabinetry.  Custom leaded glass windows are a unique feature to this kitchen, and the stunning red glass mosaic backsplash produces the “wow” factor.

The island features a butcher block insert, a prep sink with a waste chute, and a pull out waste recycling system, these details make the island both beautiful and functional.
