Cotton Balls Kitchen

The shaker door style and the two-tone colour scheme gives this kitchen a more updated and trendy look while still making it feel warm and comfortable.   A lacquer finish in a warm “cotton ball” white was used on a MDF door with a square corner for the main wall of the kitchen and a maple door finished in  night horizon colour was used on the island to provide a rich contrasting design for the space.

The walk-in pantry and the broom closet help support the functionality theme of this smaller size kitchen.The colour of the cabinetry is accentuated nicely by the lighter coloured Giallo Ornamentale granite.  The furniture style toe kick grounds the centre island and gives it the look and feel of piece furniture.  The open area on the back of the island with a soft arc on the overhang of the countertop is not only pleasing to the eye but is functional with seating for entertaining and dining.
