Zen Bathroom

The term “spa” comes from the name of a 16^th century resort town in Belgium famous for its therapeutic mineral springs.  This design theme was the main inspiration when the home owners decided to renovate their ensuite bath and create a retreat to soothe the senses.

From the heated ceramic tile floors which add to the warmth and comfort, to the invigorating body jets and “rain” shower head, the homeowners can enjoy a spa-style experience in the privacy of their very own bathroom.  The suspended maple cabinetry in a rich “night horizon” stain and a clear glass shower wall add to the sleek modern lines and feeling of airiness.  Cambrian quartz countertops and a free standing tub lend a luxurious feel while creating a sense of tranquility and relaxation.
